Week 1

HCC CHURCH
 RENEWAL PROJECT UPDATE
THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING! We have now turned the church building over to the capable hands of our contractors at Acella, who have already begun to prepare our beloved worship home for it’s much needed make-over. (Have you noticed the chain link fence around the perimeter?)
IMPORTANT NOTE:Until further notice, there will be no admittance into the building due to asbestos removal. This will be taking place for the next 3 to 4 weeks. After that, entrance into the building will still be restricted, as it is now a hard-hat area.
I know many will be curious, so we will keep you posted throughout the summer whenever there is anything to report.
For now, if you are visiting the church office, you might want to stop in and say “Hi” to our Project Superintendent, Tom Depalma, from Acella, who will be working from the trailer that has now been installed in our parking lot. Tom is a great guy, and is looking forward to working on our job.
Those of us on the Building and Grounds Task Force are looking forward to the exciting alternative worship spots that have been lined up for us this summer, and can’t wait to share with you the progress being made during construction.
Happy Summer everyone!
