WIND POWER IS CLIMATE CHANGE POWER:
Sid Florey’s work with (way) off shore wind power
Sid Florey is an engineer who has worked on many large projects nationally and internationally. After living in the DC area and heading up the project to extend the Metro out towards Dulles International Airport, he, his wife Nancy and sons, Adam and Ryan, moved to Hingham while he worked on the Big Dig. They became members of HCC.
Most recently Sid is with a Belgian company moving towards establishing wind power off shore, exploring deep water ports (such as New Bedford) for transport of huge equipment. It is a massive project and one very important in addressing climate change. Giving birth to the project and what this means for our climate future is fascinating! Please join our ZOOM conversation with Sid.
