Backpack Drive for Interfaith Social Services

It’s time, once again, for our annual backpack drive for Interfaith Social Services. Deadline for donations is July 20th!

Many of us remember how great it felt every year, to open a new notebook and pull-out new school supplies!  Let’s create this experience for others in our community as well!

There are two ways you can help

  • Donate a fully stocked backpack with the items below, or
  • Make a financial donation on our giving page or at church. We will purchase the items and assemble the backpacks. Please be sure to check the box under other giving for the backpack drive or highlight “Backpack Drive” on checks or cash donations

Backpacks should be filled with these supplies. Backpacks should be generic and gender-neutral, if possible.

  • 3 spiral notebooks
  • 2 composition notebooks
  • 3 plastic pocket folders
  • #2 pencils (pack of 6, pre-sharpened)
  • colored pencils (pack of 12, pre-sharpened)
  • 1 rectangular pencil eraser
  • washable markers (8 or 10 pack)
  • Crayola crayons (8 or 16 pack)
  • glue stick
  • pack of 6 pens (black or blue)
  • 2 highlighters
