BOOK COLLECTION INITIATIVE
There is a giant box in Hale Hall collecting new or gently used children’s books (for kids up to age 13 please).
This is an ongoing effort in collaboration with Interfaith Social Services (ISS) in Quincy, who give a free book to clients with children who come in to pick up food or visit the food pantry. Let’s help encourage kids to read and develop a love of books!
Helping Our Neighbors
We are making an urgent appeal for Stop & Shop gift cards, separate from our ongoing Thanksgiving gift card drive. Due to recent reductions in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, there is an immediate need for additional gift cards, in any denomination, for distribution to our partner organizations.
You may also consider making a direct donation to Wellspring, Interfaith Social Services, Father Bills & MainSpring or Rise to help address immediate needs within the community.
Please note that this urgent request does not impact our ongoing Turkey Bag drive. If you or someone you know within our HCC family is in need of immediate support, please reach out to Rev. Peter Allen or Bri Doty.
Kindly bring or send gift cards to the church office as soon as possible for immediate distribution. Your timely action will directly help those in need right away.
