Dr. Eileen Hutchins

Dr. Hutchins received degrees in piano performance from the New England Conservatory, the Juilliard School, and the University of Maryland.  Winner of many competitions, she has performed widely in solo recitals and with orchestra. A champion of new music, she co-founded the Delmarva Piano Festival, and issued her CD of piano music of Claude Debussy.  She has held department chair and faculty member posts at the college level. A Colleague of the American Guild of Organists, Eileen has served churches of seven denominations. Eileen lives in Boston with her husband, daughter, and Loretta the cat. Away from the keyboard, she loves to swim, bake sourdough bread, read, and find new adventures with friends and family.
