Ed Bartholomew
Ed and his wife, Janet, landed in Hingham in 1977, having moved from Vernon, CT. Ed served HCC as Asst. Pastor, part time, for four years while attending graduate school. Entering the education field, he taught third grade at Derby Academy for almost 20 years. At HCC Ed has served on the Board of Outreach, Love Around the World, and the Music Committee over the years and has led the Jr. Choir the early 1980’s – enjoying every minute, song, and child of it!! A member of the Senior and Folk Choirs, Ed is now a retired grandfather of five wonderful grandchildren, ages 2 – 10, whom he never gets to see enough of!!
