Compassion Camp is a program where kids and families explore what it means to have compassion for others, ourselves, and the world.
As we look around the world, our deep need for compassion becomes more evident with each passing day, perhaps now more than ever. Through art, movement, music, and more, Compassion Camp’s goal is to cultivate compassion for each other, ourselves, and the world.
Our sessions move in this order, following biblical stories that model our theme for each day: Session One introduces compassion and shares how to recognize opportunities to practice it. Session Two focuses on the self; Session Three moves out to the neighbor; Session Four moves out to the world, and Session Five asks us how we might act upon all we have learned from Compassion Camp as changemakers today. We are excited to take this journey with you and your young ones! Aug.10 – Aug14, 9am -12pm
