Weddings

Hingham Congregational Church, UCC hosts many weddings every year. Fees for nonmembers are listed below.  Our Senior Pastor meets with couples before scheduling any wedding in our church; call the church office (781-749-1276) to set up a meeting. We perform same gender marriage ceremonies.

FEE SCHEDULE
For Church Members
(We consider church members those couples and/or their parents who regularly attend Sunday morning services and/or who support the church with an annual financial pledge.)

Use of the sanctuary:        $– 0 –
Pastoral services:  For families who participate in the life of the church, there is no set fee for pastoral services.  If the family chooses to present the pastor with a stipend, the usual fee is $600, paid directly to the pastor.
Outside clergy:   Negotiated between the parties involved.
Hingham Congregational Church organist:  $350, paid directly to organist.
Bench fee if not using organist:  $175
Outside organist:  Negotiated between the parties involved
Custodian fee:  $50/hour

It is expected that all fees will be paid a minimum of one week prior to the wedding, but no later than the day of the rehearsal.

For Non-Church Members

Use of the sanctuary:         $300.00
Pastoral services:    $600, paid directly to the pastor
Outside clergy:  Negotiated between the parties involved
Hingham Congregational Church organist:   $350.00 paid directly to the organist
Bench fee if not using organist:   $175
Outside organist:  Negotiated between the parties involved
Custodian fee:  $50/hour
